摘要

在当今社会,消费和生活方式已成为区分人们的社会性差异的重要标准,即消费越来越成为决定社会分层标准的重要因素,或者说,消费也成为社会分层的一个重要维度。传统的社会分层研究最为关注的是经济分层(如收入、财富)和工作领域中的区分(如职业、生产关系、雇佣关系等),然而,在当今的社会分层研究领域,越来越多的社会学家把消费分层放在更重要的位置。

本文的研究是运用全国抽样调查——2013年“中国社会状况综合调查” (CSS2013)的数据,对中国城乡居民的消费分层问题进行比较研究。本研究中,将消费分层量化为消费水平与消费结构两方面,消费结构归类为生活必需品消费、信息消费与人情消费。通过对数据的统计建模与分析,对中国不同人口学特征、不同阶层、不同区域的城乡居民的消费分层进行比较分析,探讨人口学变量因素、社会变量因素、经济变量因素对中国城乡居民消费分层的影响。

根据本研究结果显示,城乡居民的消费水平及其分布形态具有明显的差异性,而城乡居民的消费结构具有一致性。人口学变量因素、社会变量因素、经济变量因素均在不同程度上对中国城乡居民的消费分层有显著性影响。

 

ABSTRACT

In today's society, consumption and way of life have become an important standard to distinguish people's social differences, namely consumption is more and more become an important factor deciding the social stratification standard, or in other words, consumption has become an important dimension of social stratification. The traditional social stratification research focuses the most on economic stratification (such as income, wealth) and the distinction in the work (such as professional, production relationship and employment relationship, etc.), however, in the field of studying social stratification nowadays, more and more sociologists put consumption stratification in more important position.

Based on the national survey data of 2013 Chinese Social Survey conducted by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the author makes a comparison research on the problem of consumption stratification of Chinese urban and rural residents. In this study, consumption stratification is divided into consumption level and consumption structure, while consumption structure is classified as necessities consumption, information consumption and relationship consumption. Through statistical modeling and analysis of the data, the author compares and analyses the consumption stratification of residents in different demographic characteristics, in different areas and in different classes, so as to discuss the impact on Chinese urban and rural residents' consumption stratification in demographic variable factors, social variable factors and economic variable factors.

According to the results of this study, both the urban and rural residents' consumption level and their distribution pattern have obvious differences, but the consumption structure of urban and rural residents has consistency. Demographic variable factors, social factors and economic variables have significant impact on Chinese urban and rural residents' consumption stratification in different degree.
